Piper is a sweet, bouncing ball of energy.  Her idea home would be one that has fellow doggy friend her size that likes to wrestle.  Piper has never met a stranger and loves all people.  She is working on house training and crate training.  Piper likes to jump and nibble on fingers so may not be good around kids under 5.  Piper came into the shelter severely matted and will need owners who understand that maintenance required with daily brushing and every few months going to a groomer for a hair cut.  We don’t think Piper had ever been brushed or been to a groomer before coming to us so will need someone willing to work with her as she is wiggly and likes to nip while being brushed.

SCHS Veterinary Care and Services for Dogs (5 months of age and older): Prior to being placed for adoption, all dogs, at a minimum, receive a veterinary exam, are neutered/spayed, tested for heartworms and Lyme disease, and treated for internal parasites, flea/tick preventative , current on booster(s), bordetella and rabies vaccinations.

SCHS Veterinary Care and Services for Puppies (under 5 months of age): Prior to being placed for adoption, all dogs , at a minimum, receive a veterinary exam, are neutered/spayed , and treated for internal parasites, flea/tick preventative , current on booster(s), and rabies vaccinations. Puppies under 4 months of age will be placed into our foster to adopt program until the above services are met.
