Meet Bombur! 
 
Bombur is a handsome former feral who spent the early part of his life outdoors and is now learning the comforts of indoor living. While the transition has been an adjustment, Bombur has shown just how much potential he has to be a wonderful companion.
 
He loves gentle pets and affection and will happily soak up attention on his own terms. He’s not quite ready for being picked up or sitting in laps yet, but with time, patience, and trust, he may continue to blossom. For now, he’s perfectly content enjoying calm, reassuring pets.
 
Because of his past, Bombur can be skittish around fast movements and loud noises, so he’ll do best in a quieter home that understands his need to feel safe. He enjoys his scratching pad, long cozy naps in warm spots, and has taken beautifully to using his litter box—no accidents here!
 
Bombur’s experience with dogs and other cats is unknown, but he has shown curiosity and interest in the resident cats in his foster home. With a slow and proper introduction, his foster believes he could do well with another cat-friendly feline companion.
 
Bombur is a sweet, gentle soul looking for a patient, loving home where he can continue learning that indoor life is safe and full of kindness

SCHS Veterinary Care and Services for Cats (6 months of age and older): Prior to being placed for adoption, all cats, at a minimum, receive a veterinary exam, are neutered/spayed, tested for FeLV, microchipped, current on booster(s) and rabies vaccinations, de-wormed, flea treated, and checked/treated for ear mites.
