Event Request Application

Scott County Humane Society is grateful for the continued support of our community. Community-hosted events and public engagement opportunities play an important role in helping us save lives, educate the public, and build meaningful partnerships.

To ensure we can properly review and respond to event opportunities, we ask that all individuals, businesses, and organizations complete our Event Request Application before hosting a fundraising event on our behalf or inviting us to attend a community event.

What This Form Is For

This application is used for two types of requests:

  • Third-Party Fundraising Events – Events planned and hosted by community members, businesses, or organizations to benefit Scott County Humane Society.

  • Community Engagement Events – Public events where Scott County Humane Society is invited to attend for outreach, education, volunteer recruitment, or awareness.

What to Expect

Scott County Humane Society is a volunteer-run organization, and the majority of our animals are in foster care. Participation in events—including the number of volunteers or animals able to attend—depends on availability and must be confirmed in advance.

For third-party fundraising events, organizers are responsible for all planning, logistics, promotion, obtaining permits, and executing the event. Our team will review each request and provide support where possible, but submission of this form does not guarantee attendance or participation.

Why We Ask You to Apply

The Event Request Application allows us to:

  • Review event details and assess feasibility

  • Coordinate volunteer and animal availability

  • Ensure the safety and welfare of our animals

  • Maintain clear communication and expectations

  • Support successful partnerships with our community

Next Steps

Once your application is submitted, it will be reviewed by our team. A representative from Scott County Humane Society will contact you to discuss availability, expectations, and next steps. Please allow time for review, as we rely on volunteer capacity.

Thank you for thinking of Scott County Humane Society and for helping us continue our lifesaving work.
