Lexa

Alexa has adjusted very well to our home and I honestly couldn’t have a cat more suitable for me. She is perfect and doing great. She likes to take up our entire bed, play with her toys, & needs all the attention.

Smitty
Smitty

You can count this one as a successful adoption!  We renamed him Murphy when we first got him.  We are very glad he became a member of our family. He adjusted quickly, made himself right at home, and has brought us joy and laughter from day one. We can’t imagine not having him!

Iona

Iona is doing great in our home. Tries to avoid my toddler, only because my toddler's excitement is not something Iona is comfortable with yet. My toddler is still learning that not all animals appreciate how excited she is to see them. We're making progress slowly but surely. We have a gated downstairs that is all for Iona. She doesn't have any problems escaping when she needs her quiet. She's a very loving and chatty cat and comes when she is called. ðŸ˜†

We are so happy that we found your rescue. Iona is meant for our family. She handles the excitement and noise of a home with 2 dogs and a toddler very well.

Thank you so much!!

Kyle

“Kyle” just didn’t sound like a cat name to me.  He now answers to “Oliver” and has adapted well to our home.  My husband and I love him!  Our dog, Annie, tolerates him.  She is so jealous of Oliver.  If I’m petting him, she has to get right between us!  Sometimes they chase each other from room to room.  Sometimes the cat is in front, and sometimes the dog is. They’re funny to watch!

Oliver is now about a year old and is no longer a little ball of fluff.  He’s a big ball of fluff!  In one of the photos I’m sending you, you’ll notice my size 8 shoe next to him.

He’s not a lap cat; I wish he were.  If the dog weren’t always in the way, Oliver might be more loving.  Oliver scampers through our house and reminds me of a rabbit the way he moves.  Also, he has been very healthy—not sick one day and have yet to see the first hairball.  In addition, he loves to go outside in our backyard and lie under our tree for short periods of time.  We have a totally enclosed backyard with a privacy fence, and, since Oliver has no claws, he can’t climb it.

Thanks for checking on him!  Rest assured he is loved and well cared for.

Tiger Lilly

We changed Charlie’s name to Ozzy and shortened Tiger Lily to Lily. Ozzy adjusted very well from the beginning, he had no problems with our large dog who had no respect for personal space, a few months after adopting the two kitties we had to let our dog Sake go, (who we adopted from the Lexington Humane Society)  she had fought cancer for almost a year. Lily had a harder time adjusting, I think she was a little overwhelmed. We found out that Ozzy has a small heart murmur, but is otherwise healthy.
Our family ended up moving to MI a few months ago to help my parents out because my father was diagnosed with cancer, with the move Ozzy and Lily gained an older kitty sister who is not too found of them, but I think Ozzy is in love lol (he has to be near her wherever she goes). Our family is very grateful of these two, they both help every night when we tuck in our 4 year old twins for bed, and one of my favorite things about Lily is that she comes running to the kids and loves on them if they cry when they get hurt or are upset. They of course have their flaws, Ozzy loves to talk around 4am and Lily has an obsession with the toilet paper roll, but we love these crazy cats anyway.
