Diamond is a unique looking cat. She has mostly Snowshoe Siamese markings with some calico colors mixed in and beautiful blue eyes. She is about a year old and came to the shelter with her five kittens. She also took the orphan kitten Melange under her wing and nursed her too.  She is now ready to find her forever home. Like many Mom cats she has been very protective of her kittens and therefore hostile towards other cats. This may change once she has time to just be a cat again and not worry about the kittens but for right now we don't recommend a house with other cats. She has been OK around the large friendly dog in her foster home but would send out warning growls if he got too close to the kittens. She is an affectionate and friendly cat who likes to be with people. She kept up a constant dialogue with her kittens so she is probably going to be a talker.  Put in your application today as she will probably not available for long.

Prior to being placed up for adoption, all cats (5 months and older), at minimum, receive a veterinary exam and are neutered/spayed, tested negative for FeLuk/FIV, microchipped, current on booster(s) and Rabies vaccination, de-wormed, and flea treated, and checked and treated for ear mites if needed.
