Melange was found on the side of the road by someone who kindly took her to the Scott County Animal Shelter.  She was th ree weeks old and had obviously been thrown out of a car. She had a black eye and bloody nose. The Animal Shelter let the us know about her and we soon took her into our care.   With a little TLC and a Mom cat that nursed her along with her own litter, she soon recovered from her injuries.  Melange did not let this rough start to life intimidate her.  She is a brave kitten that is smart, affectionate and independent.  She loves to run and play with the other kittens in her foster home but she can also entertain herself just fine.  She also gets along with the large friendly dog in her foster home.   Won't you give her a safe home for her future?

Prior to being placed up for adoption, all cats (5 months and older), at minimum, receive a veterinary exam and are neutered/spayed, tested negative for FeLuk/FIV, microchipped, current on booster(s) and Rabies vaccination, de-wormed, and flea treated, and checked and treated for ear mites if needed.
