Hey there every one, I'm "Barkley"! Someone said I was named me after Western KY's "Lake Barkley" ! NO WAY! I say I'm named after one of the greatest basketball players every, Charles Barkley! Like him, I'm a "Macho Boy" that is true to my breed. At 7 months in Sept. and about 35 lbs, I'm athletic, graceful, attentive and "ready to go". My favorite toy is a Nerf Ball. I toss it in the air and catch it myself! Where's the hoop! We pointers are know to be very even tempered, affectionate, loyal great with other dogs, kids and even cats! I'm able to sleep in my crate all night, but happiest to just lay in your lap, on your bed or at your feet. I'm a pack pouch that wants to be with you always. Also know as a "Constant Companion" I'm also naturally curious but want to be your shadow or on your lap! I let you know I have to potty and am quiet in the crate at night. Take me on a long walk every day and I'm ready to snuggle at night. Race you to the couch! I'll "lay up" with you all night if you let me! Inside companion only please.
