My story starts out sad, but now it will have a "Happy Ending" as I will be adopted into a new forever home that will provide me with love and understanding as I learn there is life off the end of a chain. Hello, I'm Dora. I was living a life at the end of a chain for 3-4 years with little food or water! Once rescued, my new education of life has begun. This includes food and water and a soft warm spot to sleep beside my foster family (photo to the left). I am THRILLED to have other doggie friends and to learn how to be a "dog". Though little socialization in my "first life" I am quickly learning and growing in my confidence. I now am crate trained, sit to be fed, and house trained! Oh, did I tell you I also am a HUGE SNUGGLER!!!! A home with no small children would be best since I am still a little skittish of activity but older kids are fine and fun to play with! I won't hurt small kids, but after a bad beginning, I need to know only gentle knowing hands will be around me. Won't you open your heart to a "once chained gal" and give me a lifetime of unconditional love? I will return it tenfold!!!! Inside companion only please.
