Named after the 26th president of the United States, I'm Theodore, or "Teddy" for short! Being named after such an important man is putting a lot on a little guy! Only 1 y/o and 17#, I'm just the right size to "Let you run your fingers through my hair and cuddle me real tight!" Although "Teddy" organized and commanded the "Rough Rider" in the Spanish American War, I'm not a rough kind of guy like him. But I do believe in his "Square Deal" giving a "Fair Shake" for the average American as "Teddy R" preached. Yes, I'm a smart little boy who, since found as a stray and placed in the shelter, also needs a "Fair Shake". Maybe I wandered away from "The White House"! Already house and crate trained, I've learned that other dogs, even big, and cats are "Buddies"! No kids are recommended since I'm not used to quick movements and I get jealous. I want to improve as I learn little people "are" friendly and fun but for now, I'm still a bit nervous with kiddos. If no one is available, my foster mom has a toy box just for "little old me" to content myself. Historically we Corgis and Hounds are loving dogs that want to be shown the way, so I'm considered a "Wallflower". I'm just waiting for my person to love and adore so I can feel confident and safe.
