I'm Ben, "Gentle Ben" to be specific (at 4 months 2/17). I will grow up to be a "Big Ben" (30 lb presently) in a few months. My belated brother Ben Franklin once said..."There are 3 faithful friends, an old wife, an old dog, and ready money". Well, I'm not an old dog yet, but would like to grow old with you! Bernese Mountain dogs are easily trained, a gentle demeanor and loving souls! Though still a pup, I'm already crate trained and working on house training. Another quote from famous Ben F. is "Be slow in choosing a friend, and slower in changing". Well, somehow my owner chose me and was not slow in her choice. You see, she was 80 y/o. So though no fault of mine, I ended up at the shelter. Ben F. also says "Lost time is never found again" so every minute you go without having and sharing your love with me is "our" lost time together! Ben F. also said, "A penny saved is a Penny earned".
