Remember the 'Unsinkable Molly Brown"? Well, I have one up on her. I'm Molly, named after the American Revolutionary War Heroine Molly Pitcher". Molly carried water to her husband and his platoon as they fought in 100 degree weather. As her husband was over come by exhaustion, Molly took his place at the cannon and fought on. We Molly's are fighters. I was found as a stray, 1 month pregnant. If giving birth to 4 pups (1/23, 1 did not survive) was not enough, it was found that I had 1 more that would not come out. So off to the vet I went, and it was too late. I had lost 2 of my precious pups. I was then spayed. I grieved the loss of the 2 pups. Thought over come with sadness, I returned to my 3pups, fresh stitches and all, to nurse and nurture them. If that doesn't deserve a medal, nothing does! Now at 3 years old and 26 # I'm regaining my girlish figure. My foster mom says I'm a very sweet and well mannered gal, already house trained. Considered a "Teachers Pet", my only concern besides my pups is to gain your love. As my pups are learning and being weaned, I'm now looking for "my" forever home and life long companion.
