Agile, fast, tireless and very vocal.... That's what I'm supposed to be, but there must be a mistake. I'm Humphrey, a "laid back" kind of boy who stumbles over his own feet, enjoys a good snooze, could probably loose a race to a turtle and so far my foster mom says she doesn't think I have a bark! Now this is if I get enough exercise and have a strong leader to show me how I should behave! The name Humphrey means "Peaceful Warrior" - Peaceful as in you may have a hard time getting me off your bed, couch or from in front of a warm fire! A buddy dog to play with would really be the best option as we could run off our energy together! At 22# and almost 5 months old 4/24, I must sleep to allow growth to continue! I do have a lot of loose skin to fill, and "Oh, these BIG EARS" aside my head! We Tree Hounds are very loving, intelligent and easily trained. Our best attribute is that we're the perfect dog to watch TV with and get some snuggle time in! Good excuse to "kick back" on Sundays...I'm uncertain of new things, shy you could say.. Children and other dogs are fine as long as they don't scare me too much. Heck, I'm even scared at first of that stuff mom tried to feed me that stuck my tongue to the roof of my mouth.. Think she called it Peanut Butter! I just need a person to show me the way and I'll grow up to a "Best Boy Every"! Inside companion only please.
