Camilla, meaning Free Born or Noble… Named after the Duchess of Cornwall, wife of Charles, Prince of Wales, I’m ready to start a new life with a new name…My story is a sad one. Kept outside for 6 years in the muddy fenced in yard, I have had at least 2 litters of pups. I was called “Ugly Dog” by my previous owners. My hair was such a mess that I have been shaved to start my new growth and life to look as I should look, like a Princess. I’m truly a beautiful girl, inside and out with a winning personality despite my former life. At 10 # my foster mom is unsure of how I ever kept warm with little shelter. The mats in my hair must have provided the needed insulation from the cold. Considered a “Teachers Pet” I follow my foster mom all around. I’m Smart, Fuzzy and love to learn and live to please. I can even do a dance on my hind feet to be petted! I’ve quickly learned not to cry or mess in my crate. I will need some routine grooming to ensure I will never be called “Ugly Dog” again, but that is such a small cost for the love, loyalty and adoration I will return for years to come. I’m Camilla, the Princess of Georgetown, and I’m ready to sit on your throne, but I prefer your lap. Inside companion only please.
