Having been owned by a young man with a busy life, I was kept outside on chained for the first year of my life getting little attention, no training nor love. Luckily his mom saw the loving soul just waiting to shine if only given a chance. That chance came as I was turned in to the shelter and now in foster care. I’m Hurley, a 1y/o 88lb BEAUTIFUL BLACK LAB BOY with shinny, soft & slightly curly hair. I’m now experiencing what it is like to step in a home, be wanted, warm and a member of a family. This is when my life “Truly Began”! My foster mom and dad are just great. They give me hugs, training and there’s even other 4-leggeds to play with. I’m now a “Social Boy!” I an attentive to commands, almost potty trained and I now sleep the whole night through. My only fault is a slight habit of chewing… Hey, that’s what puppy teeth are for! Well, I’m learning there are things you chew and things you best not even attempt to chew!! “Dad, it was my bro that chewed your sneaker the other day!!!” I do LOVE car rides and walk well on a leash. For only being my new home for a week I think I’ve come a LOOOOONG Way! But I’d love to come a little further….. Right in your front door! How about a Buddy for life! Hurley’s your guy!
