At just 2 years old and still a lean 58#, I won’t get much bigger. Birdie, an ancient Germanic name, means “The Brilliant One”, and I’m just that. Being completely house and crate trained, I’m even safe to be trusted alone with no chewing or destructive behaviors. I do love to jump and require at least a six foot fence. I also love to play with other dogs but tend to be a little choosy of my female dog friends. Cats are interesting and I like to pester them but don’t mind them being around. Having been loose on my own, I’m fearful of thunder and lightning and I’ll hide at your feet. Since both Shar Pei and Shepherds are very loyal, loving and tightly bonding breeds, I’m sure to be the most loving companion you could dream of if given the chance. My foster mom says it will be very hard for her to give me up, but she loves me enough to know I need my own people to call my family.
