I'm Lea and I'm considered a very Very VERY lucky little Chihuahua/Pekinese girl! I was curious and squeezed through my owners fence to investigate the neighbors yard... Well, The neighbor was not please and got angry with me. Don't know why, I'm so small I couldn't or wouldn't hurt anything, but... the neighbor shot me in the face. Oh, that really hurt! My owner could not afford to pay the veterinarian fees so she was nice enough to take me to the Scott County Humane Society for help. Next I was taken to Central Kentucky Vet Center for care. The people there were so nice and gently but I had to have part of my lower jaw removed because it was shattered. I'm still healing and have to wear a piece of tape made into a Muzzle to keep me from moving my jaw too much. I'm only 1 y/o and will probably have to eat soft food for the rest of my life, but otherwise I am a normal healthy girl that loves to be held, cuddled and to give kisses back in return. I'm now looking for my forever home... Could you be that special person to give me a second chance? I hope so.. Inside companion only please.
