“Cindy Lou Who”? I’m Cindy Lou, who was named after the character in the Grinch that Stole Christmas! Yes, she was that shy little girl, so sweet, soft and gentle, and that’s me in a nut shell. At 4-5 y/o Papillon mix weighing 5# dripping wet, I was one of 9 small dogs left after our master died unexpectedly. I didn’t know any better but from what I am told the home life was not so good. We all were dropped off at the shelter not wanted by any family members. Oh, the barking was something fierce at the shelter! I was so afraid! Now safe in a foster home I’m learning about love and affection. Being held, cuddled and a soft voice all seem so new to me. Though I have 2 of my sisters with me it is still scary but I’m learning each day and loving my new life. Already crate trained, I’m not telling yet if I’m house trained, but being a bright little girl if not it will come once I get accustom to the routine. I do follow you “At Your Heels” when walking outside, I rarely go ahead. It’s safer letting you step first. I do get along with other dogs and with 3 90# boys right now and I just walk under their legs!...don’t even have to duck! Cats probably would be great too as I have shown no aggression in any situation, just shyness at new things. My coat is a soft tri-color, bad hair day ears and a fuzzy soft tail that wags in excitement as the world is coming alive. “Cindy Lou Who” is looking for You!
