About Jill

  • Status: Adopted!
  • Species: Dog
  • Housetrained: Yes
“Child of the Gods”, that is what Jill means. I’m “Jill”, 1 1/2 yrs old and 60# cooler then cool looking rare Bearded Collie that’s got “Wiry Whiskers, Fuzzy Paws and Fluffy Ears!” Being an ancestor to the Old English Sheepdog, I did have long hair but had it shaved down to finish off the summer with this new cool look! I’m totally house and crate trained although I’m not thrilled about the crate thing. I do get along with most other 4-leggeds and even CATS! Yes, I’ll tolerate a feline! I do protect my food from other dogs, but am working on relaxing a bit around my food. Loving you ask? Well, I’ll “LEAN ON YOU”, no question asked. I adore all people, walk well off leash staying close by your side. Rides in a car are another of my favorite things. Considered a Constant Companion, I’m a low maintenance – let me sit at your feet, walk by your side and devoted gal that will be committed for life if given the chance. Bearded Collies are an agile herding breed known for large heart breaking eyes, robust energy and “Happy Wagging Tail” for life. Yes, that’s me in a nut shell. Come take me for a walk, get up close. Inside companion only please. Jill’s adoption fee…..200.00 Please send your completed application to DogadoptionsSCHS@aol.com IMPORTANT All our pets are fostered in volunteers' homes.
