I’m Destiny, a 1 1/2 y/o, 15# Dachshund/Chihuahua mix gal. Destiny is a mythological Greek God of Fate. As Fate will have it, life has not been so good and I found myself at the shelter looking for a new home. Don't know exactly why as I am totally house and crate trained, play well with other dogs and give and take love, especially if you come down on my level and cuddle with me! Oh, I do love to get pets in the belly! I do need to learn to stick around when off leash, but hey, who can blame a gal for wanting to explore her new surroundings? I’m a HIGH energy type packed into a small little body who loves people and going and doing whatever you do. I do play with toys by myself. Heck I’ll even throw them up in the air… just got to learn to catch them as they come down and conk me on the head! OUCH!!!! Considered a Busy Bee, I need big walks every day, activity to keep my interested and mind ticking then I’ll curl up with you for snuggle time or bed. I’m a dog on a mission to please.
