“Marley” here! Ok, hold on there, no, I’m nothing like the dog that they wrote a book about and made a movie….I’m a different/better sort! At 9 months old (10/23), 59#, I’m a Boxer mix with a truly BEAUTIFUL Black and Brown Brindle coat. I have surpassed that pooch by miles. That lab may have made a movie, but I’m the one that will make you a GREAT FAMILY DOG for sure! REALLY!!! Though young, I’m catching on so quick my foster mom can’t believe. I fetch “almost” consistently, sit on request “usually”, chew “mostly” the things I am allowed to chew, but just can’t get the tail wagging thing down as my “Whole Butt” wiggles and shakes when I’m happy, and that’s most of the time! I moan when needing to go outside and am crate trained, although it’s not my favorite place. I do have needs, sorry to say, and they are the “Need to Cuddle and Snuggle” as I crave your attention and affection….I’ll give you a “Sniffle” in your ear in return! I have learned a few far-fetched tricks like; collecting tennis balls at the tennis court, drinking out of the spigot, eating cantaloupe in the garden but leaving the seeds for next year, and eating carrots as my treats! Now what did that other Marley have over me? NOTHING! I do love all people and other dogs. I share nicely with other 4 leggeds and have a very enthusiastic personality for life in general! Considered a Teacher’s Pet or a Busy Bee, I’m the whole package, smart, love to learn, very attentive, go anywhere curious and trusting kind of boy! Yes, “Marley and Me” could be “Marley and You” if you only give me a chance. I’m sure something to write home about……Inside companion only please.
