My story starts out sad, but I’m confident that it will end up “HAPPY” as I now have a loving Guardian Angel that is working to lead me in the direction I have never known. Hello, my name is Willie. I’m a 2 y/o Pomeranian Mix that weighs 17#. I was named after the famous Willie Mays, who many consider him to be the greatest all-around baseball player of all time. Much like him, I just need a chance to grow in confidence and experience what life for a potentially soft cuddly guy is to be. My first 2 years of life I knew only a room in a home with 5 other dogs. I’m now learning what love is (as it is doubtful I knew love) being held is like and how good a tender touch feels. But that was the old me…… My first loving foster mom was a teacher. She not only teaches children, but she is also teaching me as I was going to school daily with her. I’m now in another loving home that is teaching even more things and I'm improving daily! I'm living with other dogs and cats in my new foster home, but could care less as I ignore them wanting only you in my life. I may learn to play with them, but for now could care less. I do love to snuggle Yes, life is now good, but could be better once I find my “Forever Home”. Still being a shy boy, I'm also known as a very sweet/loving boy that wants nothing more then to share the couch with you at night. I do love the outside, but will explore on my own as it's so new and interesting. Oh, so that's grass! Already crate trained, the house training may take a while as I had never seeing grass or the outside before so must learn your expectations. I just need that chance….Willie Mays had a nickname….. “The Say Hey Kid”. I just say “Hey, I’m Willie and I’m waiting to be “Your” All Star Kid!
