I'm Leah and I'm considered a very Very VERY lucky little girl! I was curious and squeezed through my owners fence to investigate the neighbors farm... Well, The neighbor was not pleased and got angry with me. Don't know why, I'm so small I couldn't or wouldn't hurt anything, but... the neighbor shot me in the face anyway. Oh, that really hurt! My owner could not afford to pay the veterinarian fees so she was nice enough to take me to the Scott County Humane Society for help. Next I was taken to Central Kentucky Vet Center for care. The people there were so nice and gentle and discovered I had to have part of my lower jaw removed because it was shattered. I am 1 1/2 y/o and will probably have to eat soft food for the rest of my life for nutrition but I still like to crunch small morsels and chew on small chewie bones! I am a healthy girl again who loves to be held, cuddled and to give kisses back in return, lots of kisses if you let me!!!. I'm now looking for my forever home...
