Greek in origin, Bernice means “Victory”. Well, as being one of 11 pups born to the same mom I feel “Victorious” having survived! Yes, mom had her paws full and I’m not just talk about feeding us all either! Being about 18# and only 10 weeks old 10/1, that’s a lot of 10’s! Mom was lucky as the whole gang all went to this great foster home with room to roam, play and poop! We’ve learned so much in our short lives, but have so much more to learn. Mom looked like a Great Pyreneese and dad must have been a Bernese Mountain dog or something similar as some of us were tri color and some just bi color……I’m the long girl left of the pack as only 4 of us did not make the trip north to another rescue. I figure to be one of the lucky ones as I’m sure to find a great home here. I don’t take much guff from my brothers, so although I look so innocent.. I do stand up for myself. Mom was a loyal gal, gentle and loving to all who offered pets. Both breeds are loving, loyal and devoted pets that will stand by their owner through thick and thin. As I said, Bernice means “Victory” and that’s just what I want, to be victorious and fine a forever home that will give and take loving for years to come. Inside companion only please.
