Rescue Waggin' Do you know what a “Mutt” is? No, well, I’ll tell you. The term came as a short form of Muttonhead in 1901 and first used to describe a Mixed Breed Dog in 1906! Hey, I’m Athena, and I’m proud to be a “MUTT”! Thought to be a mix of a Terrier/Labrador and maybe a Border Collie (because I have white on me) I’m 10 lb 10 oz girl about 2 ½ months old 10/15! Given all this information, my 2-legged “foster sisters” gave me the name Athena to help me feel good about myself. Athena is a Greek Goddess of Wisdom, so that makes me kind of important though considered “Just a Mutt”…..! I’m not quite wise enough yet to be house or crate trained, but am working on this extra hard. I’m picking up all kinds of things already so it won’t be long now. I’m still a baby so not to worry. My personality is special too as I’m “Full of Myself” and am just like a little “wind-up toy” with my tail wagging, trotting in circles, and figure-eights as my specialty tricks! It’s always happy, Happy, HAPPY and never a dull quiet moment for sure when I’m around! I do quiet down to be held and cuddled though as you, my person, are so important to me. Terriers are sturdy and energetic dogs that are true/blue loyal and very affectionate. Considered the “Life of the Party” kind of gal I just move from one adventure to another to get all I can from life! Just look into my eyes and you will see the love and energy I have to share with you! Anything you do, I’ll want to do, go, I’ll want to go!
