About Hunter

  • Status: Adopted!
  • Species: Cat
  • Housetrained: Yes
Hunter is the sweetest fellow and will be an outstanding addition to a home that is wanting a calm, affectionate and gentle kitty. He is about 8 years old (as of 11/2011) and is front declawed. He was abandoned by his owner to another humane society, and our group was notified because Hunter was adopted from us years ago when he was a kitten. Hunter was stressed in a shelter environment and went on a hunger strike which was very dangerous to his health. It turned out Hunter had diabetes and insulin saved him. He handles the tiny shots great, and adapts good to new surroundings given time to adjust and be is relaxed self! Hunter does quite well with other kitties and dog in his foster home, and really enjoys being able to spend time with his foster parents being petted, held and getting to snuggle by their side or on their lap. Hunter is a marvelous kitty who will fill a home with love, purrs and gentleness. Hunter will need insulin for the rest of his life and needs a home that will be able to care for him. Hunter really hopes that he will have a forever home soon, one that will not discard of him but cherish what a sweet and loving guy he is. Email your application along with any questions you may have . . . . Hunter and all his lovin' and purrs are ready to fill your days! IMPORTANT All adoptable pets are fostered in volunteers' homes.
