Mei Mei is Chinese for "Little Sister" and that is how my foster brothers and sisters treated me from the moment I set foot in my foster home. I'm a beautiful petite (48#) 1 1/2 - 2 y/o pure Boxer gal that was so desperately looking for help that I sat myself on a lady's front porch. I did growl at the lady not knowing what else to do, not wanting to hurt her, just communicate my need. Lucky for me she did get me to the shelter where I was fed and cared for medically. I appeared to have had a litter of pups, but they were no where to be found. I have an ear infection and slight skin infection that are both clearing nicely. Skin and bones no longer I'm now learning to give and take love, play with others, even getting along with cats! My foster mom swears she can see me "Smile" as I'm enjoying my new life and friends. Still shy with strangers and afraid of an occasional pat on the head, I do warm up and look for pets. Care rides and dog parks are my 2 favorite places to go. I walk GREAT on or off a leash, am totally house trained, but not thrilled to go into my crate, but am quiet once there. After a hard days play, I'm ready to cuddle in your lap and will be your shadow until bed time. Boxers are known to be faithful, clean and friendly family dogs, souls of honesty and loyalty that will never be false even as I grow old.
