I'm just a "Jersey Girl"… That's me, Jersey, a 6-8 y/o, 68# Australian Shepherd/Husky mix girl that was turned in by my owner who had a child and did not have time for me any longer. I don't know why, they didn't even give me a chance to warm up to the baby. Both Aussies and Huskies are intelligent breeds that are affectionate, friendly and gentle in nature. Being that I'm a mature girl I am already house trained, enjoy a good brushing, walk well on a leash, can give you my paw, sit, stay and understands "Wanna go out?"! Considered a "Couch Potato", though I don't really lie on the couch, I will sprawl out on the floor to take a snooze from time to time. I'm looking for a soul mate that will help me enjoy the "Easy life", laying back and taking it all in day to day. I've not really been tested with kids, but was cautious at the park when approach at the park. Cats, well, I did sniff one and thought not big deal there. I did get approached by a playful puppy and I gently raised my paw to nudge it away as if to say "Go on now, let me be"! My soft demeanor is only exceeded by my exceptional commitment to be a companion. I'm a beautiful girl just looking for that right person/family to give them my all.
