Rescue Waggin' Greek in origin, Petey means "Stone or Rock". In my case, how about a "Boulder?!" Yes, I'm a growing boy, only 5 months old (12/2) and already 54#! I"m going to be a "Big Boulder Boy" for sure! Turned in at the shelter probably because someone didn't realize how big I would get, I do have a special look about me, not typical of my breed. Not sure what I'm mixed with but I'll be a "Stand-Out" in a crowd with my red and white speckled fur! Known for being very Loving, Loyal, Mellow and "Lay a big huge lick on your face" kind of dog, I was just a basket case at the shelter as all kinds of noises scared me so. I do have some nervous issues as my fear gets the best of me. Got to realize we big lugs are sensitive types. As I grow and gain confidence with my new owner, I'll become big and courageous for sure (Yeah right, snuggle Bunny for sure!). I do love other dogs, will probably like cats and any other animal if properly socialized. I will have to be watched around small children since being a Big Boy, I may not know my size and inadvertently "Squash" a small child! OOPS! Still unsure of life and new things, I'm learning to sleep in a crate and potty outside, with proper training, social outings and your guidance, I'll be the best "Big Boy" ever!
