Max is about 6-8 years old and soooo sweet! All he wants in life is love. He loves to head-butt, have his head scratched, be held, and snuggle in the bed. He plays a little with a toy mouse, but mainly just wants love. Max came back to our care after his adoptive home brought him to a shelter because they were having a baby and didn't want Max anymore. Max lost his home and the only life he ever knew, but he will
be happy to have a home again, this time he wants
his adopters to keep him always and never toss him
away. He is front declawed and a stunningly
handsome longhaired boy and his silver fringed
shawl, plumed tail and ear tufts are a delight, as
are those long whiskers and captivating golden
eyes! Max was unkept, dirty and in need of
grooming when he arrived into our care. He loves
being brushed and will purr up a storm for you in
return. is coat is gorgeous now, and free of matts. Max lets you know with a tiny nip when he's had enough brushing for the day and wants to just relax with you. He is well behaved in the home and intuitive of people's needs, smart, and is a very devoted companion.
At his foster home Max is still not so sure of living with the resident dog, but he is beginning to adapt the other resident kitties! His ideal home would be a dog-less and with laid-back kitty(s). However, he is so easy going that he can virtually adapt to any pet in a home as long as they are easy going and do not harm him. Max has a great temperament and would be a great addition for less active home where his new people will have the time and desire to give him
attention and affection. Gentle and easy going, he
is sociable and friendly with everyone he meets.
Max needs a week or so to get used to new
surroundings, but he relaxes and begins to settle
in anywhere where he is getting love and care. Max
will be so happy to be a true member of the home
and will be purring with gratefulness and love to
simply be near you, and will purr quite happily if
he can be in your arms, curled up by your side or
on your lap. After the traumatic loss of a home,
Max has not given up that love will save the
day! He wants to be yours and to love you and just
wants you to love him back. Email your application
and make him yours, forever.
