About Peanut

  • Status: Adopted!
  • Species: Cat
  • Housetrained: Yes
Peanut is about 8 months old (as of 2/25) and this sweet and loving girl is hoping you will adopt her! Peanut loves people but hates it when we send her to PetSmart so she has had a rough time in finding a home. A plush, rabbity soft tabby girl with a round face and warm brown markings, she loves people and is very sociable and friendly to everyone she meets. Coined an energizer bunny by her foster mom when in reference to playmode for Peanut, this darling girl loves to play with toys, other kitties and can take all the excitement she will dish out! Peanut's ideal home will have another pet for her to play with (she does great with cats and dog at her foster home) and tumble with, chase, and play hide-n-seek with! She definitely wants affectionate and interactive people in the home who will cherish how sweet and purring a girl she is. She loves to be petted and loved on, and is eager to be part of a home after waiting unnoticed in foster care for months. Email your application today and let Peanuts shake up your world with purrs, love and companionship! IMPORTANT All adoptable pets are fostered in volunteers' homes. We do not have the volunteer resources to answer phone or email inquiries without a completed application. To ensure your inquiry about this pet receives proper and prompt attention, please complete an adoption application and send to the e-mail address beneath the pet's photo (there is no obligation to adopt). We do adopt out of state. Prior to being placed up for adoption, all cats at minimum receive a veterinary exam and are neutered/spayed, tested negative for FeLuk/FIV, HomeAgain micro-chipped, current on all shots and Rabies, fecal tested and de-wormed, and flea treated with Frontline, and ear mite treated with Revolution if needed. Prior to being placed for adoption, all kittens (under 5 months of age) receive at minimum a veterinary exam and are neutered/spayed, tested negative FeLuk, HomeAgain micro-chipped, current on booster shots, fecal tested and de-wormed, and flea treated with Frontline, and ear mite treated with Revolution if needed. For more info on adoption cost, procedures and to fill out a CAT ADOPTION APPLICATION, click on "Scott County Humane Society" under the pet's photo. Applications must be copy/pasted into an email or word document and all sections must be completed by applicant. PLEASE MAKE A DONATION TO HELP PAY FOR THIS CAT'S FOOD AND VET COSTS
