White, fair of smooth, that’s the meaning of my name….Gwenhwyfar or Gwyn for short. Welsh in origin, I’m a Pure Great Pyrenees girl 2-3 y/o as soft and white as new fallen snow. Weighing only 72#, I do need to gain some weight (10-20#) being a very skinny girl. Found begging for food from the employees at the restaurant at the Shaker Village, I was befriended by a nice man. Given a bath he took me home. Unfortunately his wife was not thrilled to see me so I’m now looking for my new forever home. Now in a great foster home where I’m around other dogs, children and such, I’m fine with all of these, even bratty/yappy little puppies and kittens! The Vacuum cleaner was no problem and even when a card board box fell on me I just moved away. The Alpacas and donkeys did not meet to my pleasure, but guess there won’t be an over abundance of families considering me that may have those at home anyway. I’m a “Gentle, calm girl in demeanor”, great on or off a leash, super in a car and have “Beautiful” house manors staying off furniture and even dog beds. I have played with other dogs, but am happiest right now to lay by your feet and take in the warmth and comfort of a loving home. Already showing I’m totally house trained, being left alone in the house for short periods, I’m without any occurrences. The greatest part of the day is my walks with you!!! Considered a cross between a “Couch Potato or Free Spirit, I’m ready to enjoy the easy life with you, lying around, naps or a good movie, I’m ready to follow your lead if you make a good case. Treat me like your buddy and we’ll both live a happy ever after. Great Pyrenees are gentle giants that are ready to love and share affection. Gwyn is ready to share her affection with you!
