Rescue Waggin' Named after the Dream Works Animated "Green Ogre" I'm Shrek! Like the character I'm named after I'm a large boy being only 1 y/o and already 102# and still may beef up a bit! My appearance is of a Mastiff/black Lab mix but I can better be known as a "Designer Dog" or "Hybrid" of sorts as this mix is done purposely and called a "Mastador"! Much like the Poodle mixes that are trying to bring out the best of the poodle and whatever it is mixed with, I certainly am a handsome boy as my shiny black coat is only out done by the soft smooth lines of my silhouette. Both Mastiffs and Labs are gentle easy going sorts so this mix has made me a "Gentle Giant" and "Smart as a Whip"! I'm playful with all other dogs, initiate play but with my size I do intimidate dogs and people alike. I'm just a "Big Puppy" at heart yet and learning how to handle these big feet, legs, body and oh yes…. Tongue! So far my foster mom says I'm a gem as I'm showing my loyalty, respond well to basic commands, love to play fetch, enjoy vigorous body rub downs, catch treats, sit, am very affectionate, come when called, walk close to my person, stick around alert, love my bones, raw hides, toys and …. She just can't say enough good things about me!!!! Oh yes, I’m also house and crate trained. Like Shrek in the movie, I just want to live a peaceful life giving and receiving love. Considered a"Constant Companion/Teacher's Pet" I'll certainly be right by your side every move, walk, or just to sack it in on a cold winters night. The Movie Shrek grossed over $484,409,218 but I must say, I'm worth that and more for the love companionship I'll provide to you and your family.
