Rescue Waggin' 2/25/10......Named after the “Hunter” in Greek Mythology and the most prominent constellation visible throughout the world…… I’m Orion, a 7 week (1/29) old Lab puppy with a “Luminous” Chocolate Colored Coat. I figure to end up a large Constellation (boy) as at such a young age I’m already a “Whopping” 10#! With my hazel eyes, sweet and loving disposition, I can woo you into submission, forcing you to hold me close. How can you resist my “Puppy Breath”? Having been literally dumped off in someone’s yard, I was given to the Humane Society in hopes of finding that “Exceptional Home”. Labrador Retrievers are smart dogs and I’m definitely no exception as I’ve already learned my name and have come up with a creative way to climb on the couch that is still too tall for me to jump .. I “Climb” the stairs behind the couch, “Crawl” between the stairwell spindles and “Flop” myself safely down on the back cushion. This sure beats a vertical jump any day! Oh, success! It’s a great thing! I am also able to sleep soundly by myself… but there again, I have my own creative style. Not liking to be confined, I sleep half in and half out of my crate opening. Yes, the door must be left open as I like “Freedom” to come and go as I wish! Considered a “Constant Companion” I’m already and will always be a low maintenance guy that will love to sit by your feet, walk by your side, and just spend time as I’m a devoted kind of pup. I’ll “Shine like the Stars” I am named after and be a “Twinkle in your eyes”, if only given a chance. Orion, the Hunter, is hunting for the one truly “Sparkling” relationship. Available to go to my new home around week of 2/15. Inside companion only please.
