Rescue Waggin' 2/25......Imagine the stars and moon being the only light. Sounds nice right, but not if you are a little tiny puppy. That was me as I was found abandoned as a stray and covered with deer ticks. I’m Perseus, named after the mythical hero of Greek Mythology who is said to have defeated various archaic monsters. Being only 7 weeks old (1/29) and 9#, I‘m a survivor for sure and am really a lover, not a fighter. Now safe in a loving foster home and a Bro named Orion, they call me their “Vanilla Colored Boy” who after being bathed, plucked free of ticks and fluffed dried, was found to have a soft fuzzy coat and very much enjoyed the “Spa Treatment”. My eyes are yellow/brown and have long white lashes making my “puppy look” irresistible! Considered a “Constant Companion” I do try to stick close to my foster mom so I don’t end up out in the dark again…. Sit at her feet and look up as if to say “Hold me close as this world was a scary place alone”. Once held, I do snuggle up to your neck, feel your warmth and fall fast asleep. I’m a growing boy and considered to be a potentially large boy in size once growth is done. We labs are extra friendly and happy all the time kind of dogs that are easy and eager to be trained. I may be named after the Great Perseus, “Hero of Andromeda”, but I only want to be the “Hero of your Heart”. Perseus will fight for your lap and nothing else.
