Piper, at approx. 6 years and 11 lbs, is a sweet and timid little bit of fluff who longs for a soft-spoken person with a comfy lap with which to bond and a place to make herself at home. Our best guess at her breed origins are a papilon/chihuahua mix, but have to wonder if there's some hobbit in there with those furry feet. Abandoned by her previous people, Piper's still willing to give new people the benefit of the doubt if allowed to get to know them. She seems to feel right at home with kitties, but takes a bit longer to get used to other dogs. She's good on a leash, likes to ride in the car, is crate-trained and house-trained too.
