About Violet

  • Status: Adopted!
  • Species: Cat
  • Housetrained: Yes
Violet is a spitfire of fun, love and purrs - a tomboy in the best sense of the word! About 10-weeks old (as of 8/12), Violet's history contrasts greatly from her playful, outgoing purrsonality. She was found weeks ago, malnourished, flea covered, and with infected eyes which had never been treated. Animal control rescued her along with a report she had been kicked by a neighborhood kid. While Violet was uninjured, her left eye was too infected to be saved and was removed by our veterinarian. You would think she would be shy, nervous or a sad little girl, but Violet is anything but this! Violet has a joy for life, a hearty appetite, and loves EVERYONE . . . the many purrs and the heart shaped mark on her tummy says so! Violet likes to tackle other kitties, whether they are smaller or about 10 lbs bigger - she finds this a great activity. She loves to snuggle with them after, purring, napping and being quite sweet and nobody ever seems to hold a grudge against this baby. Violet is confident and adapts easily to new places, people and other pets. She loves to explore and is an active on the go, get into things to see what this or that does. Violet will climb atop you, purring happily and will tramble across you at bedtime before settling down. She is a hilarious little girl, and she just brings life, fun and purrs into every room she is in. SHe is great with other cats, fine with a dog once acquainted, and will be a super addition to a family or home wanting a sassy and sweet kitty to adopt. Email your application today, she is ready to have a forever home to call her own! IMPORTANT All adoptable pets are fostered in volunteers' homes.
