About Louie

  • Status: Adopted!
  • Species: Cat
  • Housetrained: Yes
Louie is about 8 weeks old (as of 9/20) and is a darling baby boy who was orphaned with his littermates at the county shelter when a wee thing and bottle fed until he was weaned. This is a very loving kitten, affectionate and gentle - purrfectly precious. AND he is super cute with that round face and pretty silver tabby striping! Louie is very people friendly and wants to be everyone's buddy! The youngest in his bunch at his foster home, he is a smart, clever little guy - the first to explore, first to figure things out, and was the first to win his foster mommy's! Louie is a purrmuffin extraordinaire who is quite happy to be snuggled, petted and loved on. He is interactive with everyone and will be an ideal choice for a furry addition to a family or home. Louie has tiny squeaks for meows, making him even more cute! He gets along with other cats at his foster home and will adapt with ease to new surroundings and other nice pets once acquainted. We think this little silver tabby is the bomb! So email your application and adopt and let him fill your world with love, companionship and purrs! IMPORTANT All adoptable pets are fostered in volunteers' homes. We do not have the volunteer resources to answer phone or email inquiries without a completed application. To ensure your inquiry about this pet receives proper and prompt attention, please complete an adoption application and send to the e-mail address beneath the pet's photo (there is no obligation to adopt). We do adopt out of state. Prior to being placed up for adoption, all cats at minimum receive a veterinary exam and are neutered/spayed, tested negative for FeLuk/FIV, HomeAgain micro-chipped, current on all shots and Rabies, fecal tested and de-wormed, and flea treated with Frontline, and ear mite treated with Revolution if needed. Prior to being placed for adoption, all kittens (under 5 months of age) receive at minimum a veterinary exam and are neutered/spayed, tested negative FeLuk, HomeAgain micro-chipped, current on booster shots, fecal tested and de-wormed, and flea treated with Frontline, and ear mite treated with Revolution if needed. For more info on adoption cost, procedures and to fill out a CAT ADOPTION APPLICATION, click on "Scott County Humane Society" under the pet's photo.
