As we do not have the volunteer resources to answer phone or email inquiries Bernadette is a gorgeous Maine Coon mix girl with classic tabby markings, adorable ear tufts, full man, distinct tabby bracelets, and magnificent plumed tail! She is about 1 year old ( as of Feb 2011) and cannot wait to have a forever home after being abandoned at the county shelter by her own home who moved and left her behind. Bernadette has a charming personality and just soaks up all the attention you will give her, but is never demanding or pushy about it. She loves to be petted and loved on and purrs quite happily! Bernadette gets along dandy with other kitties in the home after she adapts to surroundings and will coexist fine with other pets at your home too. She can be talkative when trying to get your attention, but its so cute that its irresistible and she is just so loving anyway, she hardly needs to chat at all! Bernadette loves to cuddle with you and to be held, and she is so content when she can also curl up beside you for a nap or just that precious time spent with you. SCHS Foster Veterinary care and services Prior to being placed up for adoption, all cats at minimum receive a veterinary exam and are neutered/spayed, tested negative for FeLuk/FIV, HomeAgain microchipped, current on booster(s) and Rabies vaccination, fecal tested and de-wormed, and flea treated with Frontline, and ear mite treated with Revolution if needed. Prior to being placed for adoption, all kittens (under 5 months of age) receive at minimum a veterinary exam and are neutered/spayed, tested negative FeLuk, HomeAgain micro-chipped, current on booster shots, fecal tested and de-wormed, and flea treated with Frontline, and ear mite treated with Revolution if needed.
