Dexter is about 7 months old (as of 4/10) and set to take on the world with purrs and lotsa loving and fun! This adorable orange tabby has smart white mittens and a splash of white on his nose. Dexter is lively and loaded with purrsonality. He is eager to love everyone and be loved by everyone! An active explorer in the home, Dexter likes to play with all sorts of toys, watch birdies from the window, and he loves to play and pal around with the other kitties at his foster home. He also loves to play with you and has makes sure each day he gets to hang out with you and cuddle beside you. Dexter will be a super addition for a family or home wanting an engaging and interactive kitty who can bring both hilarity and love into everyday. Dexter loves to be held, petted and is a fun boy to be silly with. He has fun racing through the house and then will leap up right beside you to flop over for petting and a belly rub. He likes to stretch out at bedtime beside you, and when you get home he will be greeting you with some cute meows and head butts. We adopt out to of state homes, but ask potential adopters to consider the cost and methods of transport and include this information when submitting an application. SCHS Kitten and Cat Adoption Fees Kitten (5 months and younger): $65.00 Pair of kittens special fee: $85.00 Junior kitty (5 months to 1 year): $50.00 Pair of junior kitties special fee: $75.00 Adult cat (1 year and older): $30.00 Pair of adult cats special fee: $50.00 * A purebred mix, longhaired, declaw or polydactyl cat or kitten is a VIP (Very Important Pet). A VIP adoption fee is an additional $15.00 to the above posted. A VIP kitty leaves a financial legacy so we can help the other homeless pets in our foster program. SCHS Foster Veterinary care and services Prior to being placed up for adoption, all cats at minimum receive a veterinary exam and are neutered/spayed, tested negative for FeLuk/FIV, HomeAgain microchipped, current on booster(s) and Rabies vaccination, fecal tested and de-wormed, and flea treated with Frontline, and ear mite treated with Revolution if needed. Prior to being placed for adoption, all kittens (under 5 months of age) receive at minimum a veterinary exam and are neutered/spayed, tested negative FeLuk, HomeAgain micro-chipped, current on booster shots, fecal tested and de-wormed, and flea treated with Frontline, and ear mite treated with Revolution if needed.
