About Emily

  • Status: Adopted!
  • Species: Cat
  • General Color: Calico or Dilute Calico
  • Housetrained: Yes
Emily is about 10-12 months old (as of 5/25) and a gorgeous longhaired calico polydactyl girl! She lost her home when her owner moved to a place where pets were permitted, and Emily went into the county shelter, soon after coming into our foster care. She is VERY sweet and affectionate, loving people and children and adores being petted and loved on. Easy going and gentle, Emily is a snuggable girl, happy to be held and cuddled close. She is great with other kitties and also adapts well to nice dogs! Emily is a curious soul, eager to explore and check everything out at the home. She is also laid back and not one to ever fight, but is content to sashay about in all her beauty, lounging, and being near to you. She is sociable with everyone and confident in her surroundings. Emily likes to play with catnip toys and the laser pointer, and is pretty kittenish when she plays. She meows for you when you come home! Emily is a wonderful choice for a family or home looking to adopt a longhaired beauty and who will enjoy her extra toes on her front paws! She has a naturally short, fully plumed tail, soft fluffy coat and beautiful eyes. Emily likes to curl up with you at bedtime and is likes to be a lap cat too.
