Hello! Meet Annabel Lee. She is a female Husky who is about 7 years old and weighs about 48lbs. Annabel came to SCHS with severe bronchitis, however with some medicine and TLC she has recovered and is now showing her true personality! She greets all new dogs and puppies with a big play bow. She also enjoys a good game of chase with her doggy friends when outside in the backyard. Inside, Annabel is very calm and quiet, following her foster mom from room to room. Annabel does have a special need as she deaf. However she has completely adapted and is very smart. Because of being deaf, Annabel watches her foster families’ faces and hand gestures very attentively. When they want Annabel to come, they wait to catch her eye and simply pat their leg or snap their finger and she comes right to them. She has also learned that a hand turned palm up means ‘sit’. She is completely house trained and working on crate training. Annabel is completely house trained and will dance at the door when she needs to go potty. Annabel will do fine in a home with cats. Her foster mom describes her as a behaved and beautiful girl who deserves her chance for a loving home! Please consider giving her that chance!
