About Blackie

  • Status: Adopted!
  • Species: Cat
  • General Color: Black
  • Housetrained: Yes
Blackie is a wooly little bear of a kitten who is about 10 weeks old (as of 6/24)! He is precious and completely cuddable, loving to be cradled and loved on all the time. he is wonderful with young children and adults alike, and is very easy going in new surroundings. Blackie does great with other cats and nice dogs, he loves to make new buddies in life! He is noted as a special needs because he frequently gets constipated and has required enemas. We are hopeful, along with our vet, that as he gets older this problem will dissipate, but for right now are requesting that his adopter feel comfortable seeking veterinary assistance or be able to learn how to administer an enema is if the little black bear needs one :-). Aside from this, Blackie is a fun loving, gentle and very sweet little guy who craves attention and love from people. Nothing in life fazes him, and he enjoys meeting new people and other pets. At bedtime he loves to curl up near or on you, and during the day is either playing with toys or another pet, or wanting to be by your side or on you lap. A devoted little companion, Blackie is ready to be an interactive part of your family or home. He will be a great buddy for a family, being as sweet and engaging as he is. Email your application today, don't let his "little" problem keep you from finding the love of your life!! IMPORTANT All adoptable pets are fostered in volunteers' homes.
