With such a sparkling personality and so much love to offer, its sad that Ginger is looking for a forever home still. Just one year old (as of 6/2011), she came into the county shelter a year ago as a baby and remained there for 5 months until she came into our care. Ginger's luck seemed to change, but alas after being adopted in December, she was returned last week because she did not like being in an RV for family trips. She is totally devoted to adults and kids alike, loves to be petted and held, and will just hang out by your side, stretched out, and wanting your love and attention. Ginger is outgoing and very sociable with everyone, and likes to follow you about the home (so she can be sure to get your petting when you stop moving!) and is the ultimate feline companion. SCHS Foster Veterinary care and services Prior to being placed up for adoption, all cats at minimum receive a veterinary exam and are neutered/spayed, tested negative for FeLuk/FIV, HomeAgain microchipped, current on booster(s) and Rabies vaccination, fecal tested and de-wormed, and flea treated with Frontline, and ear mite treated with Revolution if needed. Prior to being placed for adoption, all kittens (under 5 months of age) receive at minimum a veterinary exam and are neutered/spayed, tested negative FeLuk, HomeAgain micro-chipped, current on booster shots, fecal tested and de-wormed, and flea treated with Frontline, and ear mite treated with Revolution if needed.
