Sassafras is 1 1/2 year old (as of 1/2012) and has the biggest, roundest eyes! Saucers which are a pale yellow, almost pearlescent, color contrast with her velvety soft black and brown tiger striped markings which are bold. She is a lovable girl, so content to laze about, sashay here and there and stretch out on the back of the sofa, on your bed or in a patch of sunlight on the floor. Sassfrass is wonderful with other cats and kittens and is tolerant and easy going. She does well with a dog once settled into the home and is GREAT with children and adults alike. Sassafras misses having a home, and misses knowing that someone will care and love her always. Her adopter returned her because Sassafrass has IBS (irritable bowel syndrome) which we have controlled with a good steady food and no kitty treats. In other words, don't change food around on Sass .... let her adjust to one food and one food only. This darling girl loves to be petted and petted and then be brushed, and then the chin rub, oh... and then the head rub, and then pick her up for a nuzzle and then let her weave about your legs flirting for more of your attention. She is a great cat that we are happy is feeling much better, now she just needs to know she is wanted and will have a home again. If you would like to meet Sass, email your application today. She has been practicing on much of our organization and is now confident she will have you fall in love with her too!
