Hello my name is Ace! I am a male Jack Russell Terrier mix who is about 4 years old and weighs 16lbs. When I came back to foster care, I was very uncomfortable and scared in a new place and didn’t trust many people. My foster mom knew that she could help me come around and brought me home to work with me. With a boost of self-confidence and extra socialization, I have shown huge improvements from the day she brought me home from the shelter. I have gotten much more comfortable with the other dogs in my foster home and I now play and wrestle with them! I also trust every member of the household and I have bonded very closely to my foster mommy! I appear to be house trained and have not had any accidents in the house. I bark at first when in the crate, but I do settle down. I do well with cats. I would like to be in a home with no children. I am a happy boy now that I am settling in. I am very affectionate and grateful for all that my foster family has given me thus far. I really like to just hang out in the house with my foster family. My ideal home would be one that is fairly quiet and predictable, a home with few surprises and a pretty consistent schedule. I am a sweet boy once you get to know me, just give me some time to warm up and you will never know I was shy!
