About Jasmine

  • Status: Adopted!
  • Species: Cat
  • General Color: Black
  • Housetrained: Yes
Jasmine has not had a happy life before foster care took her and her two babies in. This sleek, quiet and loving beauty was tossed over the county shelter fence in a sealed box with her two then two week old babies inside with her. She remained at the county shelter caged for several weeks until we could take her into our care. Ever the understanding soul, Jasmine knew it was kitten season and we already had so many to care for. Now 1 year old (as of 1/5/2012), she is ready for adoption hoping that you will make her yours. Jasmine is great with other cats and does not fight or fuss with them. Jasmine has a soft, sleek jet coat, amazing electric green-yellow eyes and a tiny dash of white on one back toe! She will do nicely with a gentle and easy going dog and also will do well with gentle and calm children. She would love a home that will scoop her up as she likes to be held, to pet her, and to let her come up on the sofa and lay by her new owner's side or on their lap. She is easy to trim nails on and will use a scratching post just fine. Jasmine likes to laze on a window sill and will be more playful than you would think. Having never had toys or a nice bed before, or love and attention, Jasmine thrives with people giving her affection, she loves to be talked to and she loves toys - especially dangle toys and catnip toys! She would be so happy to have a home with you, so please email your application today! IMPORTANT All adoptable pets are fostered in volunteers' homes. As we do not have the volunteer resources to answer phone or email inquiries without a completed application, to ensure your inquiry about this pet receives proper and prompt attention, please complete an adoption application and send to the e-mail address beneath the pet's photo (there is no obligation to adopt).
