Abby is about 11-12 weeks old and is a tailless Manx with darling calico markings that are like gumdrops on her white coat! She and her Manx sister Lena (also online) were both very scared when they were dropped at the shelter by their home and were quite hissy. But after a few weeks at a foster family, these girls are mellowed out and Abby is no longer timid and adapting great to being in a fun and active family setting. A pinch shy at first, she will continue to blossom in a home that will be patient, attentive and very loving with her. Abby is an active and playful kitten who likes to cuddle and race about with her sister and she purrs up a storm of delight when you pet her. She likes to be picked up and held and keeps learning just how nice it is to be in someone's arms. Abby gets along well with other kitties and does fine to a nice dog given time to get acquainted. She is full of surprises right now because Abby is still growing up and learning that a family and love is quite nice to have. SCHS Foster Veterinary care and services Prior to being placed up for adoption, all cats at minimum receive a veterinary exam and are neutered/spayed, tested negative for FeLuk/FIV, HomeAgain microchipped, current on booster(s) and Rabies vaccination, fecal tested and de-wormed, and flea treated with Frontline, and ear mite treated with Revolution if needed.
