Meet Widget. I am a male Terrier/Basenji mix who is 1 year and weighs about 20lbs. My foster mom says I look a bit like a Basenji also because of my skinny body, long legs, and curly tail! I am crate trained and my foster family is working with me on house training. I am a VERY affectionate boy who LOVES to be with his people. He is very high energy and often jumps for joy! However once I get over my excitement, I quickly settle down and lean against you for some attention. I also give you a squinty little smile to show my appreciation for you. I am very playful and smart. My foster mom says that I am also athletic and agile. Maybe there is agility in my future? I get along great with other dogs. My foster mom is unsure about children as I have not been around them. I am now ready to find my forever home and look forward to meeting my new family!
