About Joy

  • Status: Adopted!
  • Species: Cat
  • General Color: Black
  • Housetrained: Yes
Joy is about 6 months old (as of 12/9/11) and was rescued from the middle of the road where she and her siblings had been left when babies. Joy and her brother Liam came into our care and began treatment for severe conjuctivitus. However, each required an eye removed. Since then they have healed great and are much happier and more comfy. As a special need kitten, Joy needs an inside home which will assure she can never get outside. A happy, joyful kitten who is so incredibly loving and sweet, Joy has a purrmotor that purrs love: you pet her - she purrs. You rub her tummy - she purrs, and rolls over for you. You hold and cuddle her - she purrs. Joy adapts well to new surroundings given time to explore and get adjusted to pets in the home. She is wonderful with other kitties and does fine with a nice dog. Joy may be a little timid with small children, but with older, cat-savvy kids, she does great. She loves to play with toys and has a curious side to her. Joy is very content being with people and on a lap or by someone's side. She would love a forever home who will see what a pretty girl she is, see how loving she is. Joy will be a wonderful addition for a family o home wanting a special kitty who will brig love and companionship for a lifetime. Email your application for Joy today, and let her truly bring joy to your life! IMPORTANT All adoptable pets are fostered in volunteers' homes.
