Hello! My name is Markie, I am a male Bichon Frise who is 2 years old and weighs 17lbs. Markie was born on 10/18/09 but when his owner had to move into an apartment, she could not keep him any longer. I am completely crate trained and I am doing very well with housetraining, only a couple of accidents since I was brought to my foster mom’s house. I get along great with other dogs and I really enjoy playing with them. I am a little aloof with new people however once I get to know you, I am very affectionate and like to be picked up and held like a baby. I also love my chest scratched. I do get along with cats. My foster mom is unsure about children as there are no young children in my foster home. I am a medium energy boy, who knows when it is a good time to play and when it isn’t. My ideal home would be one where the routine is pretty standard and not a lot of abrupt changes. I am doing very well in my foster home and am now ready to find my “fur-ever” home.
